Focusing on relatively inexpensive assets (i.e. when gas prices are at cyclical lows).

Consolidate small to medium sized producers into one larger, growth oriented corporation.

When combined, the synergies this strategy creates offer potential for
significant multiples of the purchase price.

Scout’s development strategy will be flexible and include both outright
ownership as well as farm-in opportunities, depending on the relative risk - reward financial commitment involved.

The initial euphoria which created record land prices, drilling, and other service costs has resulted in a large number of struggling companies who are motivated sellers. The pool of available talent from which to grow the Scout Exploration team is increasing as this initial wave of junior oil & gas ventures is now reducing costs and staffing levels.
